"The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is still within 10 minutes walk to the train station. The room is clean, with basic amenities. There is no refrigerator in the room but there is a shared one in the common kitchen. I did not give five stars only because my room has the smell of smoke. The hotel is a non-smoking one but previous guests seemed to have smoked in the room."

"the hotel is nice and clean, it is located up in the mountain overviewing the lake. we got the duplex on two floors apartment for the 4 of us. the size of the apartment is ok. breakfast was very good with a lot of variety of choices, you can even ask for more choices that are not on the buffet. I personally prefer to Stay in the city (Interlaken) for future trips and I would find a hotel closer to the lake for better view and for the fact that the drive up and down to the hotel was Not EASY,...

Wonderful room
"This hotel was a gem. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room had a view of the Reichenbach Falls, which were lit up at night. The bed was a little hard for me but right for my wife…matter of preference. The breakfast was free and quite filling—boiled eggs, assorted breads, jams, cold cuts, cheese, juices, and coffees. It was about 6 minute walk to the train station and a multitude of restaurants. If we come back to Meiringen, this is where we are staying!"
