Also take a stroll outside the resort along the river. Don't miss the speed boat ride, you will go through narrow river lanes and low bridges. "We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small.
The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze.
There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. We were able to hop into a rickshaw for shops, ATM and bird sanctuary.

NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent."

1) The bathrooms and washing areas were smelling bad / extremely unclean… the taps were all fully dark and rusty
2) very salty water provided for all washing / bathing.
3) extremely un-friendly staff who were showing absolutely no interest in the welfare of the guests.
4) It was extremely hot during day time, so we asked them to switch on the AC and they said AC will be available only from 9pm.

The room we had was nice, good food offerings and beer - all at a good price. Pool area was ok."

"Very relaxing and beautiful scenery.
The rooms are very modern and clean.
There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests.
The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help.
Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala.
