Hotel and staff were great and exactly what we expected. The only thing I suggest is lighting in parking lot. It was pitch black when we left in early morning to catch flight and literally couldn’t see anything.

Very cozy hotel, affordable and close to the airport. Outdated but pretty much all Iceland hotels are. Being a bit outdated though is what gave it a nice charm. Breakfast was good too.

It is a simple but clean hotel with a Great staff. Has lots of cute features, like the sitting area in the lobby with beer and wine offered and a charming 2nd floor breakfast area. We were here for just one night while on a layover and it is perfect for that or just to stay more economically than downtown Reykjavik.

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, but on arrival realized the only feasible way to the airport was by cab (which was pricey, but a little bit on us for not looking into earlier). The staff were excellent, informative, and helped us book a cab to the airport on short notice. Breakfast was included with our stay, opened at 5am so we could eat before our morning flight, and had a good amount of options for a basic continental breakfast.

First of all, the staff and the breakfast was amazing! All the staff, specially the breakfast person and the front desk person were super nice and very friendly. The property itself was clean, conveniently located close to airport. The rooms are little cozy. Overall its a good stay.

Hotel very expensive for its quality. If I would have paid two time less, I would have found still expensive. It would be 2 stars max in continental Europe. Room is so so and the shower was not working. Breakfast was cheap quality and several items were missing at 9:30. It’s closed but not that close to the airport. You still need to take a taxi (5000ISK). Only positive point of this hotel is the friendly reception staff.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. We had an overnight layover so we are pretty much just looking for a place to sleep and it served that purpose. The taxi ride is expensive for the hotel being so close to the airport and we walked to a food hall where the food was good, but also very expensive.

The main reason we chose this hotel was the advertised Hot tub for our quick layover stay as well as the close proximity to the airport. The Hot Tub (pictured) does not exist. And is “under construction”.
