"Location was excellent but the main road was busy with cars parked on double yellow lines outside the entrance to the property. Nice modern apartment. We had to replace the batteries in the remotes as none worked . The yard needs weeding. The bedding was low quality. The first night was peaceful as there was no one if the flat above us however the second was dreadful. We could hear constant footsteps running up and down . Shouting and screaming kids. Tv was on full blast . Went on till gone 11...

"Hotel reception is good. Hotel room is not good because smells and very poor maintenance windows curtains and water taps not working properly."

"The room we were allocated was very dated and tired. The mattress was old, sagging and not comfortable. The bathroom was equally poor with black mould on the paintwork, loose loo roll holder, insufficient loo paper for two guests over two nights and not restocked! The drench shower was right over the bath tap controls and not thermostatically controlled. My wife nearly got scalded trying to adjust the over bath shower. No warning that the hot water was extremely hot (as an experienced plumbing and heating engineer, I would guess the hot was over 60°C). No grab rail was provided to assist entry into the quite high bath. The worst were the selfish bar staff who where dropping empty beer kegs and emptying tubs of bottles in a skip right under our window until 23.40! Value for money was poor bearing in mind the nightly rate. To be totally objective, there was one positive which was the nicely cooked breakfast. However, even that was tempered by lack of catering for diabetics/coeliacs. No natural unsweetened joghurt and no fresh fruit! Please spend your money wisely and do not waste your money here."

"The breakfast was a joke. At the bottom of the staircase on a table there were a few packet croissant, some boxes of cereal, some bananas and apples. The adjacent mini fridge had milk and orange juice. Bedroom nice but the thin flimsy curtains are no good - the bedroom is bathed in the early morning light and I found it difficult to sleep after sunrise"

"Hotel name is not visible from the street. Parking on site was appreciated. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was 'open' but the cook was not there. After a while they reached her by phone and she would be there in 15 minutes, and was told to take our orders and I paid for two 'specials'. After arrival, the cook/owner(?) came out and chatted with several locals and then brought her dog out to visit with a guests dog. Later she came out with a hairnet on making me optimistic. We had an overnight flight and a long day to this point. One couple came out of the kitchen with full meals. We watched them eat and take home the leftovers. Keep in mind no one had ordered food before us. Next, another couple were served, and ate their food. Clearly they noticed we had been waiting longer. After a while my food came out. 10 or 15 minutes later, my friend was told the cook read the order wrong and was now going to remake her food. By now I was finished, the bartender offered my friend a glass of beer, same as we had on arrival. By then she was past it, we were tired, hungry and angry. Eventually she got her food, and ate alone. Our meals were not worth waiting ..and waiting for. We were there for hours. The cook coming out and apologizing would have been a nice gesture. The next night we went elsewhere for food."
