The rooms are large and have a fridge and tea tray in the rooms. The property is in walking distance of the village and Emlyn Hotel where we were attending a wedding. "Very unique old mansion complete with eclectic wall to wall art, probably original furniture and uneven/squeaky floors. Only part upgraded were bathrooms. Living room space fits a group nicely. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Interior needs some help with musty/moldy odor. Beds could use some newer mattresses, not very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Limited communication with staff, especially at checkin. One visit was good enough for us. "

"From the minute we arrived the service was fantastic. We had a delicious afternoon tea and then checked in for the night. Staff attentive could not have done more for us. Lovely that a lot of the staff were bilingual. Our room was large, comfortable and spotless. Harbour view. The breakfast was super tasty, plenty of choice with excellent service. Check out was speedy, friendly and efficient. Never disappoints we will be back. Highly recommend for a special treat. "
