"This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. "Wow! The view from here is breathtaking! I originally planned to stay two nights, but ended up staying 5. I would suggest planning to spend some time here! You can see the Picos de Europa from your room and there are many places to sit / eat outside. Fuente De is close by and the hosts provided many resources for nearby hikes. There is a cool hike that goes by 3 waterfalls, into a small village, up to a cross, and up to a peak before circling back. There are other hiking trails that leave right from the apartments! The apartments themselves have everything you could possibly need and the hosts were very responsive. They even sent a video to help me get to the location without a problem, which I have to say is a first! Can’t tell you how many times other hosts didn’t take that step and had me circling around lost! All those extra touches, the people, and the place make it an unforgettable stay. Do yourself a favor and plan to spend some time here! "

"Great place and views and food. Some reception staff, not all, seemed to resent questions, even though we are Spanish speakers. Carpets are terribly stained for such a nice place. Restaurant staff were great. We would stay again."

"This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos. There is no better location to reach each of these in 1 hour, plus Potes, Sotres and Bulnes. Covadonga lakes are another 30 min, but beware private cars cannot go to Covadonga. You need to leave your car at a parking lot and they have taxis to take you the rest of the way. Besides location and hot springs, the hotel is very good, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great breakfast. They don’t have a coffee/tea kettle in the room. You need to buy that at the bar, but the waiter brought it all the way to my room. I would only say that they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, they are very old"
