Great stay!

my check in experience was very nice. The Manager observed that i was an employee of Fairfield inn. He immediately waived my deposit. My room was clean and my bed was comfortable. It was a quiet peaceful stay. I loved that food and gas was very close by.

I own a janitorial service and I’m a hotel and motel blogger and I come to the Richmond,VA area frequently for work an I’ve stayed here twice, the first stay was great except for the huge gap at the bottom of the door which made the room cold, bit other than that and no Ice machine or cups but a good stay no the less…the second stay was ok the housekeeping missed a day of cleaning my room which was weird but the front office staff was cool though and the hotel was quiet and clean and the deposit is $25 dollars

When I arrived, check in was smooth. However, I opened my door, and my room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff cleaned it quickly, and they missed some dirty towels and cooked ramen in the sink. I was willing to forgive that given they rushed. I later came back to the room, and I noticed water from a leak on the floor, roaches, AND DIRTY BEDDING. I mean stained pillows, red-brown mystery streaks with hair on the sheets, and dog hair all over the blanket. No housekeeping staff were around to help fix it. I didn’t care about the weed smoke in the lobby. I spent a terrible night here not sleeping and checked out a day early. I’ve never had a bad stay at a Red Roof Inn before. The hotel looked clean and cared for in the photos and reviews. I felt like I’d been catfished by the hotel. I thought Expedia was trustworthy. I will be contacting Expedia for a refund. Do not stay here.

The room was not in good shape at all. There was a large gap under the door that you could hear the noise and also let a breeze in from outside. No utensils or anything for the kitchenette area. The outlet in the bathroom area didn’t work. The bathroom didn’t have a toilet paper holder. The shower rod was hanging on by a thread as well as the vent in the ceiling. Also the checkout time was 11a not noon as you have on your site.

I don't know where to start with this place. It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The rooms are dirty they clearly don't clean them. Half the stuff in the room doesn't work or is broken. They want you to pay a deposit. But for what the bugs in the rooms ? This location has terrible employees, The heavier set Indian guy is very rude and makes check-in unbearable. I'm still waiting on getting my last deposit back. When I checked out there was nothing wrong with the room. Other than what was wrong with it when I checked in. I promise you don't stay here and waste your money.

The room neglected isn't the word more like no care to given to the presentation of the room at all. The bed spread was soiled , stains and it had cigarettes holes..or in other words burn holes.I requested a non smoking room..This wasn't it and it wasn't at the place I requested which was HomeTowne Suites next to the RED Roof side. The water was cold but did warm up later.So I did shower at some point. There were a lot of Hispanics having loud music like a day in the park loud, laughing. Yes they have a note for a quiet time but some people work varying schedule. It's not a party site but a hotel with others sco pay to stay not to hear the party crew. I just think if you loud and drinking socializing take it to the park not the hotel where others are staying too. They need a better policy or rule. I typically never have had issues I get the room on the side I request and it's most times it's little to no noise.
