Holiday Inn Express South Burlington Downtown by IHG
8/10 Good
"Nice and clean room in a convenient location, but some things were broken and needed fixing. No elevator which was a pain. Continental breakfast was ok."
Hotel Champlain Burlington, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Property has a pristine location in front of Lake Champlain and 5 minutes away from Church Street. Location is excellent. Staff is very cordial and eager to please with any request that you may have. The housekeeping staff is fabulous, very helpful and nice.
They do accept pets in the hotel and there was a barking dog in one of the rooms of my floor. I did not report it because it was on my last night of the stay and I was leaving the next morning. I am a highly allergic person and every time I enter the room I would cough and sneeze, I believe its because of the rug and the past pet visitors. I would suggest a deep cleaning to the rugs after pets visit. Nevertheless the housekeeping staff came over to "detox" my room every time I called and they were very diligent."
"Brittany at the front desk was great. So very helpful with recommendations of things to do in town.
I would 100% say again the next time I come to town."
"We absolutely loved staying here! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay.
Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! We also really appreciated the charming Austrian feel of the hotel, which made our stay even more unique and memorable.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back and stay again!"
"Plenty of parking, convenient location. It's an old building and had some issues to be attended to. The room could have been a little cleaner. The beds were fairly comfortable. It was good for the one night we stayed there. The people were great."
"Had the fillet mignon for dinner here and a few days after at the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. The Stowe Village Inn steak was far and away, indescribably better."
The Lodge at Spruce Peak, a Destination by Hyatt Residence
8/10 Good
"Stayed over July 2nd. They were gearing up for the 4th but everything other than the main lodge was closed which was a bummer. The pool was great, and the place looks really awesome, just wish it had been more active."
