"The hotel is perfectly situated next to the gondola and the staff are super helpful. Hotel room was huge and clean. They service the rooms daily and everything is in walking distance, but not right where the hustle and bustle is.The parking is a little funky, but if you buy parking, you can park underground, in the garage. We had an F150, so it was tight, but doable. Fabulous place to stay. We were there is Spring, but I can only imagine it's even better in the winter. There is a restaurant on site and they have a breakfast that overlooks the gondola."

"This is a 1898 hotel in the San Juan mountains old mining country. Most unique hotel we have ever stayed in the US, England, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. All the bedrooms represent the turn of the century with meticulous care by the owners Matt and his wife. Expect a hearty and warm welcome by Matt when you arrive. This is an excellent choice for your lodging in a wonderful hotel and town."

"Silverton is a quirky little town - The Dent Elbow fits right in and is well placed for everything the town has to offer. There is no management on site and as luck would have it we had a problem with our door handle but owner Nick responded very quickly to our message and took care of the problem. Room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. There is a bar below the rooms but there was no problem with noise at any time. Would stay again."
