We chose this place due to the location but the heater would not turn off so we had to open the window while it was raining outside; the bathroom door also wouldn’t close, and the pillows were very unpleasant.

A decent budget hotel

Budget hotel about 20min walk to Old Town, a bit too far for us. Had a Premium room 302. Good size, good shower, bit short on storage, some drawers or a couple of shelves would have been nice. Rooms serviced every 4 days. A good selection at the breakfast buffet, but only a small area which could get very congested at busy times. Reception staff were very helpful and nice. All in all an OK stay but would pay a bit more and stay nearer the Old Town next time.

Great location near the train station. This is a modern hotel fitted into a heritage building;expect it to be a bit quirky. Excellent breakfast provided to start your day. Staff very helpful and knowledgable.Only downside is there is no safe to lock your computer and other valuables when you are out and about.

Budget hotel in walking distance of old town. Basic but clean and comfortable. Felt safe walking to and from the hotel. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Didn’t take the breakfast option so can’t comment on that.

Very kind and helpful staff is the best value of this hotel, as well location in the city center and youthful vibe it has. My room was clean and matched the expectations. Breakfast is good including some Latvian traditional options, like fish and dark bred. It is easy to walk to the Old Town, main station is close, shops, boulevard circle all in few minutes stroll.

Brilliant location, breakfast menu limited.

Great location, staff helpful but lift out of action most of our stay and as we walked miles my hip was hurting each evening and still had to climb stairs to 3rd floor 😣. Breakfast menu disappointing so we ate out. Room lovely and we would return again but maybe request a lower floor.
