Very easy and pleasant check in, the newer rooms are much nicer than the old ones. Breakfast Buffett is pretty descent . Location is very good and walkable to everywhere. A beautiful park and the opera house cross from the hotel. Very nice staff all around , front Desk, house keeping and at breakfast .

The hotel is brilliantly placed for arriving/departing by train or bus and for walking in the old town area. Travel to and from the airport is easy, and plenty of green space around. Reception staff are lovely.. helpful, charming, pleasant, knowledgeable. Breakfast selection and coffee machines great.

Very nice hotel in the old town close to everything, with comfortable rooms and nice beds, and wonderful breakfast- one of the best we’ve ever had in hotels. Amazing value for the money. Highly recommend!

The AC/Heather system needs a major overhaul it’s too noisy. The shower curtain is rooted in some parts, needs to be replaced. The TV is located at the left side of the bed and it’s very uncomfortable to watch TV.

Had a lovely stay in Riga. Beautiful city. Hotel is very conveniently located on the edge of the old town and near the bus and train stations One minor disappointment was that the website list laundry facilities and laundry service. There are no laundry facilities at the hotel. However we were referred to a great laundromat

An amazing hotel in a great location close to transportation and the Old Town The staff were very helpful and professional. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely recommend the Metropole hotel.

Great property, excellent location and staff were very helpful. Breakfast really nice. Only thing that could be improved is to provide some complementary bottled water in the rooms - 5 euro for a bottle is pretty steep!

Classy Hotel

Lovely hotel on the edge of the old town across the road (or through the underpass) from where the 22 airport bus stops. Staff are lovely and the reception, bar and breakfast areas are beautiful. The room is quiet, tastefully decorated and comfortable and the bathroom is modern with a great shower. Breakfast was nice and set us up for the day. We made a good choice booking this hotel, would absolutely recommend and will definitely return when returning to the amazing city of Riga

Beautiful hotel close to everything

Beautiful, quiet and very well kept hotel with the best location: the hotel is close to all the sights and opera, trams and buses, including air port bus stop 100 m from the hotel´s front door. I travelled with my child and the personnel noticed him the nicest way.

Lovely stay

Lovely hotel located on the edge of the old town, close to railway and bus station. Nice breakfast, attentive and helpful staff. If we returned to Riga we would stay here. Excellent all round.

A very nice hotel with good and rich breakfast. For some reason our room had a pretty small bathroom comparing to the same type of room on another floor (and to a lower class room as well).

Really nice cosy hotel, my room was ideal as was a solo traveller..Staff really friendly, shoutoit to Igor as super helpful.. Mini bar wasnt cold and hester was not hot, housekeeping checked but did not make any difference. Would have been good to have more vegetarian hot food choices at breakfast. Would recommend the hotel though.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel! Air conditioning, elevator, comfortable beds, best breakfast buffet I ever had. Room was a little small and tub was an awkward shape but those were minor issues. Convenience store on the corner and easy walk to all of the old town. On a main street so there is some traffic noise. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Riga!
