The girl at the reception during check-in was very kind and provided all required information I needed. Barista at lobby bar also was friendly and helped me with teapot which was needed for my daughter treatment.

Great hotel and spa facilities. Food in the restaurant was good and breakfast was a typical Latvian selection. A couple of snags: walls between bedrooms are very thin so you can hear your neighbours, water in this area is hard but no hair conditioner is provided, and the car park was at capacity for 2 out of the 3 days I was there so I had to park on the street

Fantastic hotel in absolutely stunning location. 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurant, cafe. The hotel has all the amenities that make your vacation ultra comfortable and enjoyable: spas, pools, saunas, restaurants. You may stay inside the hotel and not even go out and you will receive the full spectrum of entertainment and you will enjoy it immensely. Greatly recommend and will be sure to return back.

Great hotel

Great hotel with an outdoor pool and a short stroll to the beach. Had to pay 15 euro per night extra for cot. Standard room was quite compact. Every room has a balcony, but the railings are quite low. Dinner was wonderful.

My stay at SemaraH Hotel Lielupe was generally enjoyable, with modern facilities, a great spa, and a convenient location near Jurmala Beach, just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. However, a serious issue significantly impacted my experience. After checking out at 12:30 PM on August 4, 2025, I realized two hours later that I had left my wireless earbuds in the room. I promptly contacted the hotel to request a search, and within an hour, I was informed that nothing was found. I politely requested to return and check the room myself, as I was certain the earbuds were left there, having not taken them out during my three-day stay. Unfortunately, this request was not accommodated. Later, I checked my Samsung "Find" app, which showed the earbuds’ last activity at 2:04 PM at the hotel’s location—well after checkout. This strongly suggests they were still in the room or nearby, possibly handled by housekeeping. The lack of follow-up or willingness to investigate further was disappointing, especially given the otherwise high standards of the hotel. This raises concerns about potential theft, which overshadows the positive aspects of my stay. I urge SemaraH Hotel Lielupe to thoroughly investigate this matter and either return my earbuds or provide appropriate compensation. While the hotel’s amenities and location are excellent, this unresolved issue makes it difficult to fully reco

We love our stay by the sea.

Hotel manages to look as good as new. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is pet friendly, restaurant is nice and prices are adequate. The only downside is spa, which is smaller then number of guests. You have to book pool visit way in advance. Massage at SPA was great! Location is nice as well. All our family enjoyed the stay

Great hotel in our favorite part of Jurmala. Rooms are on the smaller side but have everything you need (had to ask to get a kettle though). For some reason they are using shower gel in shower-gel-type tubes as hand wash - inconvenient. Good variety at the buffet breakfast but not much variety day-to-day. Parking on the premises is hard to get in high season (and the "coin" system is weird) but enough street parking options around the hotel (watch out for parking forbidden signs though).

Beautiful forest and beach

Lovely pool and sauna. Location perfect with short walk through the woods to a sandy, well maintained beach. Small gripe, driving onto Jumala island there is a 2 euro charge. Make sure you stop and pay it otherwise you have to drive back to pay. It would be nice if the hotel and local authority had an arrangement where it could be paid at the hotel

Excellent service delivered by the professional team of the hotel and wellness centre. Exceptional cleanliness. Delicious food at the high level standard. I even prolonged my stay, which was supposed to be quite short, but at the end decided to stay for a longer time and enjoy the excellent service. The location is ideal, just a few meters from the beach, quite and beauriful. Shops, restaurants, publuc transport are all near within a walking distance from the hotel. Perfect stay in a perfect location! The only drawback is the occupancy rate of the swimmimg pool in general, which is sometimes disadvantageous to the hotel guests. Should be at least an hour for the ones staying at the hotel, as well as splitting the pool lanes and providing some space for women and those slow ones. This is the only item worth mentioning, the rest is just perfect, highly recommend.

Excellent family stay with world class beach

The hotel was top of the art, extremely well maintained and pleasurable. A short walking distance, via pine forest protecting the environment, to the 50 kilometer long beach with finest sand in the world (we've been to many beaches from Asia to America) - and the beach is not crowded like Long Island, Hamptons or Simosa Beach. Like you own Business Class trip to a World Class beach! So this hotel is perfectly located. The hotel also has an inside pool, hot tub and kids pool, which were well-attended during August holidays. Outside pool was nice and not too crowded since the hotel is perfectly sized, not too large. Small minus for the fact that pool bar was always closed. I want my frozen margaritas by the pool while watching kids. However, there were a lot of Russian speakers in the hotel which at the time of travel ban and Ukraine war was surprising - so be ready to accept it if you stay here. It appeared many of them were not Latvian Russians either and acted with nomenklatura mentality. Fortunately not entitled rich kids with attitude since this is a safe, "boring" family locatinon.

Perfect location. This view is 5 mins walk away from the hotel.

Decorative details were rich. They just installed a 75" TV for olympics after some customers complained about small TVs at the bar.

Elevator is a big trouble. It takes almost forever to wait until it arrives, which is especially important if You live in the upper floors. There is lack of tables in the restaurant during the breakfast, even though we came there quite early on 8:30. In result other people came to eat at our table - so it was not calm enjoyable breakfast time with family, it was eating in a silence with a strangers. Last week when we stayed - situation was absolutely the same.
