"Staff was friendly and fun, the beds were super comfy and it was in a great location."

"If you want to be really close to the river walk, you will be happy with the location. Road noise is a thing but not out of control. Rooms are smelly, only one elevator after being broken at least 6 months based on review dates. I waited 8 minutes for the one elevator and it was full of housekeepers. Unbelievable. Every floor we stopped at had people waiting but no room! They did fix the elevator a few days into our stay so there were two. $25 a day fee for resort cost and you get free bottled water as well as drink tokens for the bar.Cooler was full of water today and no ice. Hot bottled water on an 88 degree day. A/C didn't work when we arrived. I unplugged it hit the reset and plugged it back in. WiFi thermostat connected and it started working. Ice bucket had smeared I don't know what in it, shower door track has never been cleaned, carpet squares in the halls are at least 30 years old. My wife says it's like staying at a friends house and they "dusted" before you arrived but that's it. After staying a week, the place grows on you and it's really okay. The bar tokens and the location really are amazing. The bed is comfortable and several of the staff at the front desk were friendlier by the end of our stay. I'm not sure we'd come back here as we now know several spots close to this location."

"Shamar at the front desk was wonderful. He was unable to check us in immediately due to a late check out, but went above and beyond to keep us informed and get us in as soon as possible. "

"We had a king suite that was next to the pool and pool equipment room. I do not recommend it as it was extremely loud. The pool equipment ran all day and night. Also the internet did not work during our stay and the staff did not seem to care."

"Central location which is definitely a plus. Hotel is dated, found hairs on bedsheet, they did come to change it, but still a big disappointment."

"Staff were lovely. Hotel was beautiful and interesting. I need to come back so I can navigate better. It’s an unusual configuration as a historic building so it was an adventure finding the right door. Really such a beautiful location and I loved the uniqueness of this hotel. We will come back and stay longer. "
