"We have just returned from the most wonderful four-day stay at The Harper Hotel and honestly cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Keith greeted us and showed us to our room, Room 211, which was absolutely lovely. It is right at the end of the corridor, so it was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for us. The room itself was beautiful, and all the little extras made such a difference, from the bottled water and crisps to the homemade cookies. It was those thoughtful touches that made us feel looked after straight away. We ate at the hotel every evening, and the food was excellent. We tried both the restaurant and the bar food and genuinely could not fault anything. Everything was beautifully cooked, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. The staff really made the stay for us. Everyone was friendly, warm and helpful without ever being over the top. We loved the way the staff interacted with the guests. It felt very informal and relaxed, yet at the same time extremely professional, which is quite a difficult balance to get right. A big thank you to Andrew, the General Manager, because whatever he is doing with his team, it works. There is such a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about the people staying there. The spa was wonderful too, and the hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to visit. My sister and I travel all over the world"

"Last-minute booking (train problems) brought me to the wonderful Bank House! Beautiful position overlooking the River Ouse and only 10/15 minute walk from the railway station to the picturesque Purfleet Quay. The staff were simply amazing - nothing was too much trouble. Welcoming and friendly - they turned a very emotional and draining day into a very calm and relaxing evening! I also had a meal at the on-site restaurant - very good indeed. I will definitely return here - sometimes impromptu events have the BEST outcomes!! Highly recommended."

"Itโs always been fantastic , everyone Iโve stopped with my boy weโve loved it , the property was clean , tidy , the staff was amazing we have a good bond with one off the staff my boy loves him xx, heโs so friendly with us and anything we have needed or need heโs got us , fantastic time would recommend the stay , weโll be back , always got the big welcome , wonโt mention the guy on here but truly amazing staff 5x s go too him"

"The Hotel and our Stay were very good, the only problem for us was the Room was very hot and we couldnโt open the windows very wide, there was an air conditioning unit in the room but we couldnโt leave it on all night as it was too noisy and we couldnโt put the vent out of the window because as I said the windows wouldnโt open enough so we found it difficult to sleep!!"
