My personal experience was ok for the time that I was there. Above all the hang ups one could have with this hotel I can comfortably say it’s perfect for anyone traveling to Rio for carnaval like I was. This hotel has a lot of room for improvement, but I’d say my stay was okay!

Whomever categorized this hotel as 4 starts needs to be fired, 2 stars at best…..Elevators malfunctioned, no lighting in hallways, need a flaslight to find room number…. Room was infested with crawling and flying insects…. Horrible experience, will definitely never return.

We liked that there was secure parking for our car. The size of the room was sufficient. There were several places to eat around the area. Most of the staff was friendly. Some were quite rude. The language barrier was periodically an issue. Only some of the staff spoke English and Spanish. When you call reception or room service they never answered. You have to go speak to the reception desk in person. We stayed at the hotel 7 days and the breakfast was the same every single day. The internet was super spotty. There was no refrigerator in the room or hair dryer. I asked for a hair dryer and it never arrived. When I asked again hours later, they said they must have all been borrowed. There was only two regular sheets on the bed and the bottom sheet kept coming off. There was no blanket or comforter. The lighting in the room was horrible. It made it very difficult to see.

The area is the worse in Rio. The beds were dirty. Even semen on the couch. Management didn’t tried at all to help. Hotels.com Did not protect me at all. All in all, the worse hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The property is conveniently located, very clean and nice but the service and internet needs improvement. We asked for additional linen and towels and it took them hours to bring them. I know they were fully booked but it shouldn’t have taken that long. The internet was super slow. We were on the 10th floor.

Very nice hotel i was honestly impressed as i had stayed at hotel alantico tower the nights before this. the only thing that was displeasing was the slow checkin/checkout process. they dont have enough people working the counter its always a 30-45 min wait to be able to check in or out.

Property Was in a very Rough area , that is what you can expect for the price you pay , No room service , just water and sodas early during the day dont expect to ask for wate late at night , towels had Hair from previous Stays , BEWARE AND CHECK YOUR TOWELS HERE 3 TIMES TOWELS CAME WITH HAIR NOT JUST A SMALL HAIR IT WAS A BALL OF HAIR TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE

Em um geral foi bom, uma pena o hotel não fornecer máscaras, uma hóspede que estava comigo tinha perdido a dela, e ela foi impedida de tomar o café da manhã. Ela precisou sair para comprar uma. O frigobar não funcionava, segundo o hotel, não estava incluso no quarto mas também não havia nada no quarto dizendo que não funcionava. A limpeza do quarto muito boa, as meninas que arrumaram são legais e super prestativas.

Unfriendly staff, tried calling the hotel several times prior my arrival, no one answered, early check in was available but I had to pay, even though I paid I didn’t get 3 single beds as how it was reserved, room was dirty, peeling wall paper, dirty walls, sheets stained, needed to get extra blankets, area around not safe.

O apartamento estava sujo, com restos sobre os lençóis, sem cobertas e com o interfone quebrado. Ao me dirigir para a recepção fui informado que a camareira faria a limpeza imediatamente. Após 1:30h de espera, incomunicável, tive que descer novamente e somente após uma grande confusão na recepção fui transferido de quarto.

The room was disgusting! Very dirty... bedbugs and bugs in the shower.. I complain to the front desk about the bedbugs and the bugs in the shower… They move my room… The second room they gave me still had bugs in the shower on the ceiling, the refrigerator was plugged in but the cooling coil‘s that makes refrigerator cold were taken out of the refrigerator so basically the fridge raider was useless. I made complaints about the second room I called hotels.com for help hotels.com decide to call them and tell them that I checked out which was untrue. I told hotels.com that I want a new room .. and after all this complaining nothing was done. And then at check out… This is my favorite part… They tell me that I owe them an extra money … Because hotels.com price their room to low .… I will never book a hotel.com again I will never stay at this hotel again , worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life

The location around the property is full of graffiti. The hotel is always crowded and 1 out of 3 elevators are working. The beds themselves are old and the mattresses are shaped like a hammock because of their use and age. There were no snacks provided in the supposed snack bar in the room, not even water available. There is no onsite parking, so it was very difficult and stressful to be dealing with this issue whilst trying to check-in. Overall, I will not stay in this hotel again.

1. Two elevators out of three were broken for more than half of my stay. 2. Refrigerator was broken during my entire stay in the room. 3. Staff do not follow COVID safety protocol. Not wearing masks or changing gloves during cleanups. 4. EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL SUPERVISOR. Made derogatory remarks about my guest's physical appearance in front of 20 something people waiting in reception. Entire time he was screaming. He also asked me for 100 reals. If my guest does not stay overnight why do you ask for money?? Then when I point out all the problems in his hotel, he tried to return the money. Which I refused to take back anyways. The Supervisor also told me if I dont like his hotel why do I stay in his establishment??? Really thats what you say to a paying guest? I Checked out of the hotel same night and booked my rest of the 4 nights stay with another hotel. VERY RUDE. 5. Their payment processing system does not even work properly in the reception. They are forcing people to use their in house ATM, so they can extract more money from people during check out. Terrible. The only negative experience I had in my entire 8 days trip was from this hotel.

Absurdo um hotel nao ter um frigobar. Ficamos 6 dias hospedados e colocaram umas garrafas de agua no quarto mas sem gelo, quente. Nao tinha frigobar para manter a agua gelada e nao tinha outras opcoes. Nossa sorte e que tinha tudo ppr perto e assim nao sentimos muito. Em relacao a limpeza, deixaram de arrumar, limpar nosso quarto duas vezes, mesmo com o pedido na porta. Tivemos que ir reclamar na recepção e pedir para tirar o lixo e trocar as tolhas pelo menos, isso as 19hs, quando retornamos para o hotel.

O apto. não oferece um Frigobar para gelar as garrafas de água. Encontrei o tapete de banheiro sujo e não havia toalha de rosto disponível. As refeições servidas pelo hotel através de empresa terceirizada, repetem-se a noite com a nítida impressão de que foi reaproveitada do almoço. No geral eu daria nota 7

Cheguei no hotel às 13h30, me dirigi a recepção para fazer check-in, entreguei documentações, assinei e pediram que aguardassem até ser chamado com a disponibilização de algum quarto. (Certissimo porque o check-in é a partir das 14h, porém, um hotel daquele tamanho, com certeza tem quarto disponível, basta só interesse de servir o melhor ao cliente, algo que os funcionários da recepção não estão dispostos a prestar). Percebi que só começaram a chamar as pessoas que estavam aguardando para checkin após as 14h, gerando um fila gigantesca, ao inves de ir liberando ee acordo com a disponibilidade da limpeza, aparentemente falta logística. Às 14h30 eu fui ate o balcão questionar gentilmente se ja havia quarto disponivel para mim, mas a atendente pediu que eu fosse pra fila, rsrsrs (fila que eu tinha ficado de 13h30), entao precisei relembrar a ela que eu estaba ali aguardando quarto, algo que ela nem lembrava mais, mostrando a falta de respeito e atenção com o cliente. Essa é a quinta vez que me hospedo neste hotel, e continuo a fazer isso por conta da localização e conforto dos quartos, mas o tato humano dos funcionários deixam muito a desejar, da recepção a cozinha, nao combina com o ar acolhedor do povo carioca. Obs. Sugiro que o gerente vá aos quartos verificar as situações dos aposentos. Meu quarto tinha um vazamento na bacia sanitária que no final do mês somado a outras eventualidades, dever dar um gasto alto a conta do hotel alem do prejuizo ao planeta.
