The staff are so helpful, we enjoyed our stay. We couldn't speak portuguese but the always found us someone to speak english or spanish. The area around is relatively safe, but not soo comfortable to walk at night, as there are homeless people. Front desk werre always helpful in getting us taxis. Rooms were clean.

I previously stayed at this hotel and it was super fine and that’s why I trusted the place and booked it again but this time the rooms were infested with BLACK MOLD. Mold in the curtains, all over the bathroom ceiling and inside the shower. The bedsheets weren’t even clean in the second room and you could literally see all the stains and body fluids. I had to change the room twice and the third room was okay but still with a little bit of mold between the shower tiles! Housekeeps also don’t clean good, left my room like they never swept and they don’t wear shoes while they clean the rooms. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt like a trampoline. I got sick and had bad allergies after staying there and had to get treatment. The breakfast time was the only decent experience. I was very disappointed and shocked with the service offered. I stayed in roadside motels that had better cleanliness.

i find that all businesses try their very best to compete in the market..this is one of them!!! The staff here are personable and show 'true' concern for the safety of their residents. I decided to have just 2 breakfasts at this place.

The room in which we stayed looks renewed compared with a previous stay. Look for rooms with access to windows. There are some rooms that do not have windows to the exterior which is not pleasant for a stay of more than a couple of nights.

The room and property was beautiful! The breakfast is amazing! The only thing I hate about this type of hotel... they give you some water/soda/snacks in the room.. they should be included in your price when you pay. Instead they are in your room already and you have to pay for them if you want to eat/drink them... so I say either include it in the price or no need to have them in the room.

The hotel is in a great location for the Metro. The down side is a number of iternal windowless rooms. The cleanliness is fantastic. The Breakfast is adequate and repetative.

Location considered very good near to Flamengo beach and many Metro and busses. The receptionist specially Flavio Barbuda and Paloma are exceptionally helpful with their good English Room was quite big. Restaurant present good selection specially Fruits and Pure orange juice.Internet was good Daily room cleaning was maintained. Hôtel was surrounded by noisy buildings with dogs.

Very bland but large enough room. The room actually had a shower and large bath with jets. Did not stay the night so cannot comment on the breakfast. But the hotel was on a quiet side street and in a safe area.

We went To Rio after visiting Manaus & amazon. Excellent location. Walking distance to Flamingo Beach. Close to CopaCabana but not walking distance. Taxi on meter is very reasonable to go to Copacaban beach. Hotel close to SDU airport. Many eating places on the back street.

Great location, close as a walk distance to the sugar loaf, Lapa, Downtown and 20 minutes away by Uber to Copacabana and Ipanema beach, around the Hotel in the night was pretty safe for to be in Rio there was a lot is small bars and chiosques to by a quick bite. The room I had was they one with the hot tub it was very nice and I think worth pay the little extra, the housekeeper ( joush) on the fourth floor was very helpful and nice all the time. Surprisedly the front desk stuff only the overnight guys was more freindly, but in overall my husband and I had a great experience.

Our room was clean & cosy & there was enough room for 4 people. The staff were really friendly & great. The hotel is located near the Flamengo park & beach in a nice part of the city. All in all this one was a really good hotel & compared to its value they gave us good services. I recommend it for both short or high stays.

Everything is good except the old Air Conditioning
The room are spacious and clean. Bathroom is 1st class. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is excellent, beds are comfortable. Breakfast has good selections. The only negative thing is the old, noisy Air Conditioning unit. Not sure if it is just our room or what? Rio was 35 degrees during Carnaval, so we really needed the A/C. All the rooms were fully booked during Carnaval. So we had to deal with it. Otherwise all good.

Good place, very near of the metro and the main beaches in Rio de Janeiro, the cost-benefits is very good and Flamengo has a great neighborhood.

the hotel was situation is a very quiet part of flamengo however it was close to 2 main roads (one @ each end of the road hotel is in ) that provide 2 metro stations & numerous local buses that serve rio. lots of iconic sites are nearby, even walking distance away like lapa , Corcovado , selaron steps.. hotel staff were very good although not everyone spoke English, one who did was the excellent receptionist Rachel who was extremely helpful for any sort of information I requested. would return here the next time I'm in Rio as my stay in general was wonderful

Stayed for a few hours until we could check into our apartment. Room had four beds which is what we needed and didn't feel cramped. Shower was hot and bathroom was nice. Breakfast was good and provided a good variety of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses along with juice. Beds were really firm but after a 12 hour flight, we were so tired we slept comfortably.

Exactly what was promised
I spent only 3 days in Rio but with the help of the hotel staff I had a great time. The breakfast was decent and they had a large menu for room service or dine in. I recommend booking a tour in Rio with the hotel and also they can plan for a car to pick you up from the airport. The neighborhood is safe and walking distance there's a metro station to get to Copacabana or Ipanema.
