"Staff was friendly,
Room was clean, food was fresh daily.
There is security at the door and the location has a shopping and food court feet away.
All areas was clean."
"Food is amazing, I especially loved the gluten and lactose free options! Chef's and staff there are world class.
The views are breathtaking! The grounds are so nicely taken care of and such an amazing theme and variety of tropical plants!
A few cautions that may be helpful to some travelers who have limited mobility. There's a lot of stairs or ramps to get down to the pool area.
I don't believe there's traditional AC, the rooms seem to have a built in swamp cooler and a separate floor dehumidifier. There's no surprise that it's a humid climate, but I was still a little taken back at just how much water the dehumidifier pulled out of the air. Probably 3-4 gallons per day. The issue is the by product of a dehumidifier running is it produces heat which in turn negates some of the cooling ability of the swamp cooler. On average the room would be in the 19-21 Celsius range. So if you're used to colder conditions etc, you may not be as comfortable.
But, the contrast from outside to inside of the room makes a big difference and you are able to cool down.
In my opinion the resort should upgrade to mini-split AC units for each room. And also vent the hot air output of the de-humidifiers outside.
Overall a lifetime experience there and I wouldn't let the AC stop someone from going, just don't expect western hotel or home like AC."
"Very limited - only had 1 bath towel and no hand towel or wash cloth? Not real clean and a few bugs. Staff did not speak English so that was a challenge. Location did make it easy to walk to stuff. Ok for price"
"Was alone most of the time, only person running the restaurant was around. Good food. Not really good beach, hard rocks underfoot in water. Town doesn’t have much to say for itself. But if you want tropical quiet then this is the place."
" I will never stay at this place again. There was not even a fitted sheet for the bed. Toilet don’t flush. No lamps. It was like surviving on a deserted island. I live in San Carlos Panama. My friend was visiting from the United States and does not have a great impression after sleeping in a bed that sunk in. The lock on my room broke and when I left to go to neighboring businesses my personal belongings were left unsecured. The lock was fixed the night before our departure. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Money wasted. "
