"The rooms had dirty linen, the pillows smelled like sweat. Housekeeping woke us up at 8 in the morning wanting to know if we were checking out that day or staying for a longer stay."
"What a great weekend getaway from Tucson!
The inn was beautifully rustic, with a fun, family-style common area that made it easy to relax and connect with other guests. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful—special thanks to Tabitha and Tristan!
A large group celebrating a 50th birthday welcomed us into the festivities, which made the experience even more memorable. The inn is within walking distance of several great wineries and dining spots, making it the perfect location for a weekend escape.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"
"We love the spa that was about 12+ ft long spa. There's a big pool. There's a lake with carp
. They made omelets to order lots of other breakfast foods.
quiet. Renovated or new buildings"
"Some rooms are remodeled, but still using old furnitures an TV, internet is intermitent and very slow. Aldo the TV had a lot of static and looks blurry"
"The rooms were Motel 6. Nothing fancy but the lights were left on. There people above us that had no respect or idea they were in a motel on the second floor. They had children and allowed them to jump around 11:00 pm to 12:00 am. The manager called twice then had to go to the room and tell them personally to be quite. The manager was awesome."
"A beautiful stay at this unique & historic resort! The rooms are very spacious & clean, and we loved the western decor. It was so nice to have the covered patio & sit outside in the evening. It wasn't a view room, and the patio faced the parking area, which normally we wouldn't want to do, but it was quiet and shady under the beautiful trees. We enjoyed a massage at the spa & golf was a nice change from the desert courses in Tucson. Dinner at The Stables was delicious. Sunday is 50% off wine so we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with the perfectly cooked steak & salmon.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The only downside to our stay was that it was a busy holiday weekend & the pool area was completely full. We arrived before check-in & planned to spend time by the pool before our room was ready, but swim towels are provided in the room, not by the pool. Since there were no chairs available & no towels at the pool, we were unable to enjoy that area during our visit. We'll keep this in mind next time we stay. We only stayed 1 night but will definitely be back!"
