"First impressions were terrible - get off the expressway and turn at the strip club into the neighboring hotel lot, then back out and find the steep unlit driveway into the actual lot. There, we were met by a crowd of guys smoking and eyeballing the new arrivals and then greeted by an empty desk. The clerk who did shortly come was friendly and overworked, trying to run the place without assistance. She listened to our preferences and gave us a decent room, overlooking the neighboring motel. The room was reasonably clean, the bathroom was sparkling, the sheets and pillowcases were a bit yellowed. All in all, it’s what you get for about $80 in West Virginia. Breakfast was truly basic but there was a bowl of apples for the road. Checkout went smoothly - again, the desk was deserted."
"I would never ever stay here again. There were holes in the wall. The room was extremely dirty. They only turn the heat on in the pool if you give them notice ahead of time... and after seeing the condition of the rooms I wouldn't trust the pool. Our room even included exposed wiring! We took one look and checked back out. Expedia helped us get refunded but the hotel would not refund the first night even though we didn't stay. It was an epic fail. Avoid!"
"The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The parking was good due to we had a trailer we were hauling. The hot tub was nice. The exercise room had a few exercise machines that didn’t work, torn seats and not in good condition. They were in the middle of repairs and redoing the hotel so a lot was under construction. Breakfast was okay. Not too much to choose from. Overall it was a good stay."
