"The Doric is phenomenal! It is located very close to the Valley of the Temples. The rooms are very comfortable, we had one with a private pool, with a view of the Temple of Juno! It was fantastic. The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and professional. The grounds are impeccably tended with cacti and other plants and flowers native to the region. The breakfast is tasty. Try their restaurant for dinner! Overall, the Doric is truly a Five Star hotel!"

"The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, on the first night we were given a smaller room than the one we had booked, and there was one bed missing, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. It seems there was a misunderstanding with the reservation, as the owner received different booking details from those shown in our confirmation. However, communication with the owner was excellent and the issue was handled very well. For the second night, we were moved to the correct room with the right number of beds, and we were also offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. Overall, despite the problem on the first night, we appreciated how quickly and professionally the owner resolved the situation. Parking is available on the street, but finding a free space can be quite difficult at certain times of the day. Fortunately, there is a secure garage about 150 metres away."

"Excellent locations! Very near train station; a bus stop to go to Valley if the Temple and a 5-min wall to Centro Storico. Air conditioning was fantastic; appreciated the split units in each room. Apartment was nicely appointed; lacking only a view to the sea. Our apartment was in a separate building which stopped us from enjoying roof top terrace at the main hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Didn’t have breakfast included in our rate so can’t speak to it."

"Great little hide away if you plan to visit the valley of the temple.....only a few short miles from the entrance. The rooms were nice including the room for our 3 late teenage kids. Great breakfast and view on the porch eating breakfast."

"I Segreti della Valle is a fantastic B&B in Agrigento. Don't let the approach, which is a bit rough, put you off. It is conveniently located to the Valle del Templi. The room is attractive, nice, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It had a large balcony/deck overlooking the Valle with the Temple of Concordia and others visible. One of the best things about this place is the hostess, Barbara, who was incredibly welcoming, gracious and makes a killer breakfast. Highly recommended. Barbara recommended Il Re di Girgenti for dinner; we reserved a table on the deck overlooking the Valle and enjoyed the lighting of the Templi - also recommended."

"Communication with Alberto was excellent from the moment we booked and the instructions that he provided were great. Good secure parking on site also. The location is very good, about a 15 minute walk uphill to the old town of Agrigento with plenty of restaurants, bars etc. and a 30 minute walk downhill to the Valley of Temples. We stayed in the Agrigento King Suite with a balcony for 2 nights and we really enjoyed the room and Agrigento itself. The room was modern, very spacious and very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. The only downside was the bathroom floor flooded when we first showered – they seemed aware when we mentioned it so not sure why it wasn’t fixed beforehand as would be an easy fix (hopefully sorted now). Also, although the balcony was spacious it wasn’t particularly relaxing as it’s quite near the road. It may be just that we’re not used to traffic noise (it was well insulated inside the room) and it may not bother others. Breakfast was okay. Not as great a selection as some places (understandable given the number of guests) but what they did offer was of good quality and with good service. In summary, a very clean place in a good location with a very spacious and modern room, but because we selected the most expensive room the price/value was not as good as other places we stayed in Sicily (6 on this trip)."
