"We were so impressed by every aspect of the hotel and staff. Each of us agreed it was the best hotel we’ve stayed in - anywhere! For work, I spend many, many nights in hotels. Some from the chain brands, others exclusive hotels with great reputations. I say with confidence, I have never experienced such universal first class service. The smiles were authentic, the greetings, warm and genuine, the care, personal and friendly. The attention to detail, noticing our needs, was outstanding. This applies from the concierge, the reception team, the restaurant staff, the cleaners, in fact everyone we encountered. It was quite extraordinary. The building is lovely, the decor high quality and the location perfect. In short, outstanding in our experience."
"We stayed in the Gallery room, it was absolutely massive, even by North American standards. It had great AC that was silent, and a number of sitting options that were comfortable. There was a Nespresso machine with pods and full kitchenette, but there wasn't any plates, pots, pans, cutlery, etc.
Shower was really great, however note that bathroom sinks are not directly outside the toilet room (the kitchen sink was, but it had no soap).
The TV doesn't rotate, despite being on a pole, so you can only watch it from couches, not from bed, missed opportunity.
Breakfast was premium/very high quality, but the staff told us it wasn't included, despite out email/booking saying it was.
The staff didn't seem the most helpful, even though they were friendly. The breakfast not included thing left a bit of a sour taste, and a lot of the times we went down to ask something no one was there. We did however get a credit for the snackbar with our booking, which was really cool and nice as we were able to get some beers and snacks.
This hotel is outside of the city in the middle of a business park. There was likely bus service for free, but we were there on a Sunday and never saw it.
We didn't use any spa services, so we can't comment, but it was a very nice place regardless and felt upscale."
"Great hotel. Very modern and clean. The breakfast was great and the free hot drinks were a bonus. Easy to get into the centre with free public transport."
"amazing location with a bus stop right outside the hotel - the number 9 gets you into the centre in less than 10 mins! staff were also super friendly and helped us print something, great service thank you :))"
"Great place to stay before my early morning flight. Check-in staff were helpful and friendly. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was closed... and they let me know that the nearby gas station, a 10 minute walk, had food. This worked well.
-------
However, I had a deeply unpleasant experience with the morning person who was to drive the shuttle. 1) I arrived in the lobby a few minutes before the shuttle was to leave, as I had been directed to by evening staff. At first this person told me I must register for a shuttle ride, but that I could walk to the airport, it wasn't far. I told him I had registered for a shuttle ride. Turns out I wasn't the only one... and the idea that I should walk when the shuttle would be going in any case was unkind and a bit insulting. 2) I approached the desk again as the shuttle was scheduled to leave in a minute. He told me to be patient. A few minutes later he called the other person, and let me know they would be right down. --- I felt like a second class person, not treated equally. I could walk, and the other person could be late."
