"We booked the small "Balsam" Cabin at Wilderness Inn which is a very cozy cottage in the woods. Even if its getting colder there is a fire place and a well working heating. We felt welcome right from the start. Everything was arranged with care: matches for the fireplace, coffee capsules, sufficient towels. In addition, the location is excellent next to Whiteface Mountain and High Falls Gorge. "

"We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and had all amenities we needed. Breakfast was above average. It is situated in a prime location as well. Being that we were primarily there to ski at Whiteface, it was a short 15 minute drive. Everything in the town of Lake Placid is within minutes. Would highly recommend!"

"Cambria hotel is a beautiful excellent location to stay at in Lake Placid. ! Our double room with a balcony was spacious, very well organized with everything we needed and modern and super clean.
The price was very reasonable and we would stay there next time we go skiing in Lake Placid.
We used the pool as well but would prefer a hottub jacuzzi after a long day of skiing.
