"This is a beautiful historic property with lovely grounds to enjoy. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made it a relaxing experience. The room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of quality food. I was disappointed by dinner. The waitress gave us some incorrect information about nibbles (the peppers were not padron), the bottled water was overpriced and the food was good but not special. Overall I’d still recommend as an enjoyable experience."

"everything was fabulous and the Darwin's are a delight! The best thing about our stay was the information sheet in the room. I have photographed it for posterity, as it really made us laugh! oh, and the breakfast! Which was amazing! -home made Quince jelly! FABULOUS STUFF! the only little thing we missed was a kettle in the room (although the hosts are very happy to make you a cuppa upon request) I work very late into the night and would have liked a cup of tea around 11.30pm, but would obviously not expect anybody to comply with a request like that at that hour! The house is beautiful, the bed and pillows were comfy and the view is lovely. Kington is sweet and we will definitely stay again"

"Lovely bright clean room with very nice bathroom. Everything was immaculate. Breakfast was really good and we also had an evening meal which was very good as well. Hosts/staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area of Wales."

"On arrival Tina was most welcoming and throughout our stay the hospitality was exceptional. We stayed three nights which really was not enough as there is so much to do in the area. The property's location is perfect for exploring the Black Mountains. River Wye and access to the Breacon Beacons. So it is ideal if you want to conquer Pen y Fan and the other peaks. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfy. Everything you need and the attention to detail is superb. The breakfast served is excellent with a range of options available. We consider that all tastes have been accommodated for. The breakfast/dining room overlooks the River Wye. We enjoyed breakfast watching the Swallows and Mallard family. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Tina and Dave for an amazing stay."

"Staff were wonderful. We arrived very early on the motorbike and they found us doneness to change and leave our bike gear so we could go exploring. Table service breakfast was a lovely treat and very delicious. Room was wonderful. The outdoor garden area is really nice, very private and beautiful with lots of flowers. Great spot to chill in the evening. Much closer to town than appeared in the map so was very happy with that and it's very close to walking path along the wye"

"We had a lovely 3 night stay(party of 4) at this charming Hotel close to Hereford, our 2 rooms were overlooking the Garden and seating area,the Owner Monique was charming and very helpful ,Breakfast was very good ,full English or variations of it,nice staff ,would highly recommend, we will return next time we visit the area."
