Even though they are mid construction in the front of the building there was excellent signage to guide you and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi area are stunning and resort level. Great location near cute downtown and restaurants very walkable! I’d stay here again no question

Didn't know it was under construction, so some amenities and areas were not available, including a mini store and a Starbucks. The homeless people we had to walk by were obnoxious and there every day all day, not sure how much the staff attempted to have them removed. One followed us. Overall, not a great stay. But the staff were all very nice and helpful.

The room wasn’t cleaned the day after we checked in. The manager gave us credit toward our parking which we appreciated. They are updating the lobby, so we had to enter on the side of the hotel. There was a lot of noise. They seemed understaffed as there was only one person who was working the front desk, and there was a line of customers waiting to be helped.

The Marriott beside the Convention Centre, Riverside, is very comfortable, clean and accommodating. Rooms are quite stark (no paintings) but very clean and comfortable. The bar restaurant is informal and the food and service very good.

We have stayed at many, many Marriott hotels over the years. I have a Bonvoy membership and before that was a preferred guest. Sadly, staying at this hotel was by far the worst experience we have ever had. I wish we had known about the remodeling effort. That aside, the curtains in the room were torn, the window was so dirty we could barely see out of it, there was no artwork on the walls so it felt like we were in a cube, the restaurant was bleak, and we had to request washcloths three times. Given the remodeling alone, we and all other guests should have been offered a discount to stay there. The only bright side of the stay was the staff who were very pleasant. I regret making reservations at this location.

We had a wonderful stay as a family with kids. The pool area was a highlight clean, refreshing, and with plenty of shaded spots to relax while the kids played. The entire property feels very secure with gated access and good parking, which gave us peace of mind. Breakfast was great, and we appreciated the convenient snacks available at the front desk. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and we all slept incredibly well. The bed and pillows were cozy, and there was plenty of storage for our luggage. Having a fridge and microwave made traveling with kids so much easier. The staff were kind, friendly, and always willing to help. Overall, a fantastic stay for families we’ll definitely be back.

The room was very nice. The 4:00 check in time is terrible. My friend and I had a show scheduled at 6:00, so the 4:00 check in didn’t leave us any time to use the pool. I understand that times are known, but they should really rethink that time or possibly extend the check out time to 12:00. I also had to pay $30/day for parking. When there is a special event at the convention center, that price is understandable, but not for an empty garage and patrons having to deal with construction. I stayed at the Hyatt Place Riverside across the street last time with a lower price, nicer room, earlier check in, free parking, and free continental breakfast.
