"We’ve stayed at Delta Hotels Riviera Nayarit three times—September, October, and most recently in March during spring break. Unfortunately, this last visit was a disappointment, especially since it was our first time bringing my parents. The resort was extremely busy and felt overcrowded, with not enough staff or amenities to support the volume of guests. Service overall wasn’t as warm or attentive as we had experienced in the past. The front desk in particular came across as rude and not very attentive, which set the tone in an unfortunate way. On the other hand, the housekeeping team was amazing—kind, consistent, and one of the highlights of our stay. The food, which had been phenomenal on our previous visits, was noticeably lacking this time. The Pantry in particular was under-serviced, not very clean, and several machines were out of order. It didn’t reflect the quality we had come to expect. The property itself is beautiful, and the pools—including the kids pool—are a highlight. The taco stands were great, and the ceviche was phenomenal. That said, the resort doesn’t quite deliver a luxury experience, and small details matter. For example, the road leading to the beach club could really use some attention—it doesn’t match the overall price point or setting. This resort truly has so much potential, but it would benefit from more staffing and additional dining options beyond the buffet to better accommodate guests, especially during peak times."

"We had a lovely stay at Casa Loteria. The location is very central and the room was spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchen was great as we cooked our own breakfasts. In hindsight I would have included the breakfast option when booking, as it was a great deal and about half the price as buying it at the hotel. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing on the loungers. The staff were friendly and there is coffee available every morning in the reception hall. The free yoga for guests on the rooftop patio was another bonus, and the instructor was great. The wifi in our room wasn't good, but if we sat just outside the door by the pool it was great. There was painting going on just outside our door which lasted for nearly a week! That was unfortunate as we felt it could have been finished in a day or two, but we made do. The bed was comfy but a little loud when getting up from it. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would come back again if we are back in the area."

"Gracias a Hilda por todo la ayuda a la buffet! The hotel was great, except the food could use some work. My wife is Gluten Free and Vegetarian and the buffet was a little difficult to find food which wasn’t mixed with her allergens. But the staff, the room, the pool, the drinks, and everything else were great! Also shoutout to Lalo at the beach- he was very helpful for our surfing adventures."

"They turn off the elevators at 10 pm till 6 am. They close the pool at 8:30pm. I had to change rooms because of the elevators."
