The property is a bit rundown, but we needed a pet friendly pace to stay. When I went to check in, I was not greeted and asked for my ID. I was given my key card and room number with no real conversation. I met my husband and dogs outside and led them to our room to find out that I was given keys to an occupied room. The guest was in the bathroom with the room open when I entered the room. I apologized and I returned to the desk and explained what happened. Even though the front desk staff member was helping another couple, he did address my issue and assign us to an alternate room.

We were just passing through, it was clean and comfortable although I would have enjoyed a cup of tea. No pot in the room and the hot water carafe in the lobby was empty. It was later (9:00ish), but it would have been nice.

Exceptionally clean but the bleach smell as u walk in and in the rooms were way beyond strong to the point u could barely breathe. The room hadn’t been finished when we checked in no soap and no towels. The front desk lady was very nice quiet and shy type and the guy at night barely said two words when I asked for towels and soap. No breakfast like the advertised

We first checked in and went to our room, after one complaint about tv not working eventually it was checked out we needed to change our room to get one with a working tv. When we returned from dinner we were welcomed with the false alarms going off. Doesn’t seem we are having much luck this trip with hotel choices.

TV did not work - "No Signal". Went to front office. A line at check-in. We were tired so decided to leave TV off. Then wife says password did not connect her tablet to wifi. I tried to connect my Fire. Did not work. Decided to call front desk. Phone did not work. No cord was hooked up to phone. Pulled out cabinet that phone and lamp sat and found cord to phone. End adapter was broken - would not plug into phone. The floor behind cabinet was filthy - had receipt from some purchase dated early April. Scum on floor and wires. Room was 60F when we checked in. Why would any staff do that? The shower was great and the bed was soft - which I liked but wife does not. Trying to think of something good about this Red Roof. Will not make any more reservations at any Red Rood in future - DONE!
