"Checking was good. Front desk staff was friendly. But at night the room next to us had an alarm that was set and went off at midnight. Called the front desk and they refused to check the room as they said no one was registered and staying in the room. I asked if they expected us to sleep with the alarm going off. And asked to change to a new room to which they replied they didn’t have any other rooms. There were plenty of empty rooms noted. I waited 10 min and the alarm was still going off. When I called the front desk a second time to see if they were going to go check the room they said no one is registered to the room again and I explained I understood that. But there is still an alarm that was going off. I then asked if I could go get a key to the room so I can check which I didn’t expect they would say yes. I expected them to check. But nope. They handed me a key to the next door room and it was then made my responsibility to go to that room and shut the alarm off. The people were joking with me saying I was going to get taken by something Which could have been a possibility if someone was hiding in the room. But I was fortunate enough to be able to go into the room unharmed and was able to turn the alarm off and unplugged from the wall. So to say the least I had to do the work of the staff by taking it in my hands to turn the alarm off was a tad insulting to me. I will not be staying at that location again with teeent of that sort "

"My daughter left her purse on the floor only to wake up the next morning to see her purse chewed up by rats. We complained to the management staff and they said that there was nothing they could do because we booked through Orbitz and not the hotel. Room was old and run down. Hair dryer was broken and plug falling apart. TV had no guide and minimal channels. The restaurant located at the hotel has been closed for I don’t know how long. Highly recommend staying away from this place. I would have rather slept in my car. We will be requesting compensation for the rat damaged purse, just gross!!!!"
