"Our room was not cleaned up for two days, the TV did not work on the third day. We reported these things to the front desk and wrote it down in he notebook. Next day the same thing and nothing was done. The manager was very accommodating as she gave us a different room where the TV worked and all was clean. She said she would give us one day free. The breakfast bar was lacking in quantity of fruit and selections of cereal. No cereal that was without sugar only raisin bran and fruit loops. We have stayed here for about over 8 years and never had this experience before-usually very nice. They told us that some of their employees were sick with the flu and had to go home and one unable to come. We can be understanding about lack of help. We do not like how they raise the price almost 100% in the summer - over two hundred dollars which is totally ludicrous and a gouge to anyone staying there in a small town like Paxton. "

"The staff were very nice. There was a gap all the way around our door. The heat took about 3 hours to warm the room up enough for us to take our coats and hats off. The hot water lasted about 3 minutes and then it cooled off rapidly. The TV remotes didn’t work on the TV in our room. Overall, it was a disappointing stay. "

"The staff was nice when you walked into the room the surface look really nice, but the sheets had stained dirt on them. Those need to be thrown away and you had to stay completely under the showerhead to get water to come out of it. There was no pressure at all. Otherwise it was not a bad place to stay for a couple nights."
