"Lovely room and bathroom, only thing done by the staff was milk and tea refilled and the bins emptied, no bed made or towels refreshed. We paid £15pp for breakfast which I would not do if staying here again as very expensive for what it was! A small buffet area with 3 cereals, yogurt, bread and pastries, a hot area with some cooked breakfast, I asked for poached eggs and they were hard and cold when they arrived. It does say online you can choose from a menu for breakfast! Had a pizza evening meal and crème brûlée they were both very good!"

"Lovely hotel, the area was beautiful and had nice walks available on the doorstep. Signs that the rooms needed some love (nobs missing on taps, bathroom light flickering, toilet making noises all night). Bar area and breakfast area were great, a excellent breakfast! Spa was a little disappointing, it was full of kids when we went and the sauna was broken."

"We had a great stay. The free breakfast was good. When you book they need to give you directions, such as after last roundabout on A40 from Hwest drive 5 miles and turn right. There are no signs on A40. Katy the receptionist is AWESOME. Katy informed us of some great off the beaten path places to go."

"Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best."
