Robins Bay Holiday Rentals

"Jamaica Inn is an excellent beachfront property. It is in Ocho Rios about 2 hours’ drive from the Montego Bay airport. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. It had a wonderful balcony facing the Ocean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The beach was sandy and pristine. We had a wonderful time on the beach. We had a problem with hot water in the shower of our room. We waited and waited with the shower running but no hot water. Sometimes the hot water would start and in the middle of the shower it would turn cold. After complaining for 3 days in a row the problem was fixed. We had Booked the room through Expedia with breakfast included; however, the breakfast menu did not specify what part of the menu is included in our breakfast plan and what part is not included. So often we ended up paying upwards of $ 40/- for breakfast. The restaurants for breakfast, lunch and Dinners were out in the open air with a decent menu. The food was very good, ambience was excellent and the live musicians were fabulous. During our stay, we found out that various celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Sir Winston Churchill, Ian Flemming etc. have stayed at Jamaica Inn. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would most certainly return."

"The lady at the front deck was very helpful. I went there a bit early room that I book wasn’t ready she gave me another room check me in advise me to make some ginger tea she was very helpful "

"Beautiful property. Odd placement of the check in desk - steps. No one at the front entrance to help with my suitcase (I arrived in the evening). Breakfast was ok, it wasn’t hot, eg. the escovitch fish was cold. The flavors seemed to have been toned down on the Jamaican local breakfast items. The liver tasted really good and the pineapple juice. Very close to Devon House but quite a drive to the airport. They do not offer airport shuttle service. At checkout asked for a taxi to be called for airport, waited about 15-20 minutes. Nothing. I went outside and asked the concierge about it, he went back in to the reception desk then said one should be here shortly, another 10minutes. Apparently the young lady never called for one."

"Shirley Retreat Hotel was super clean and accommodating. My son and I was able to rest good the beds slept well and the rooms are super spacious. We were there for a tennis tournament and it is positioned near some good restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely rebook upon my return."
