Hotel Isamar Galapagos Beachfront

"Our stay at Hotel Isamar was only a few days during our Galapagos trip but the impact of having a comfortable room on a beautiful, clean beach was lasting! We took days at rest on Isabela Island and the hotel matched exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious and had all the comforts of home (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, comfortable bed, etc). The location being right on the beach was incredible - you could walk to town via the road out front or the beach. It was safe, clean, and quiet. When we arrived at the hotel after the speedboat ferry (we recommend booking an inter-island flight) the staff were welcoming and sat with us to go over our itinerary during our stay, confirming pick up times and locations, and making sure there would be breakfast ready on our early start days. The grounds were heavenly - bright with lots of natural aspects, incorporating local wood and lava rock wherever possible. The shower and bathrooms that weren't private were always clean, never once was I feeling like I wished I hadn't gone into a space. If you are staying on Isabela we recommend this hotel! And make sure you carve out time to catch the sunset...best view in the Galapagos!"

"Samey was wonderful and she helped me to sign up for day trips ahead of our visit and she recommended some great restaurants for some delicious meals. Our room on the second floor had a direct ocean view and the hotel had a really good location,a short walk from the ferry. The Hotel Albemarle Galapagos Beachfront is a great hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We weren’t happy with our initial room, but they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful oceanfront room. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was such a lovely experience, and we could have spent hours just sitting and watching the pelicans dive for fish. The beach was quiet, private, and incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was served on the upper floor, with gorgeous views of the ocean. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. On our last day, we had to leave very early in the morning, and the staff thoughtfully packed breakfast for us and left it in the fridge. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place!"

"Excellent hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast included, and a clean, comfortable room. The WiFi did not reach my room, but I was OK with hanging out in a hammock near the pool and dining area to use it."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The view, location, the staff and the amazing breakfast makes this place a standout. We were fortunate to be able to stay here for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. It has everything you need with the beach and wildlife literally at your door step. Shirley and the staff were great. Always a whatsapp message away with any questions we had. I truly can't recommend this place enough!"

"Nice place, staff didn't speak English but we got through it. Website offers shuttle pick up from airport. I messaged three times to arrange pick up but they never responded. We were stuck at the airport an had to flag someone down to give us a ride"
