"The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. Hard to find that quality of restaurant in the UP. It was an overnight stopover for me.It's going to be standard overnight stop off point. Hotel staff was great too. Can't say enough good things."
"We enjoyed our fireplace suite tremendously as it had everything we needed. The indoor pool and hot tub were a great bonus after a busy day. Location was perfect for us!"
"Fourth time staying at Scandinavian and this continues to be the best hotel in the area. So clean, comfy large beds, huge bath tubs, love the kitchenette, and great bedrooms all around. My favorite is always the fireplace on a timer within the bedroom and as well as the clean pool and hot tub. I do think they need to repaint the gnomes out front as they’ve lost their color since two years ago. Would also recommend adding a flag closer to the road to help identify the driveway. Outside of this, Scandinavian remains the best and cleanest terrific for couples and families!"
"Upon check in we were given keys to our assigned room and upon entry there was someone else's belongings already in there. The staff took a long time to sort through the issue, including "shh'ing" me when I was trying to ask for an update. Did not instill confidence that our room would be secure and no accommodations for the inconvenience were offered."
"The property has a beautiful view of the bay. The room we had (116) had a constant annoying humming noise in the bathroom. Also, there is a door to the adjacent room that is not very soundproof. (We could hear the person next door sneeze and cough).
The resort is adjacent to the Old Post Office restaurant. The restaurant has excellent breakfast food. They also have a fish boil. (The fish boil does create a parking issue for the resort guests. Management addressed our noise concerns. We would recommend staying at this resort but pass on room 116."
"The room was very clean and big enough comfortably for 2 people. The landscaping was beautiful and the office nice and accessible. The breakfast was decent"
