Stayed here in late April when the weather was good. Very quiet at any time we could see a max of 20 people on the beach. Very relaxing time. There is not a lot in Rockaway beach at this time of the year, we where very happy that we brought whatever we needed with us Yes I would return

When I checked in the gave me keys, car pass and a cleaning check off list! I had to strip beds and put all towels in Blue pillow cases. wash and dry all dishes, empty garbage into receptacles in the outside hallways and return Keys &parking permit to office. I have stayed at many hotels and have never had to strip my own bed and take out my garbage, interesting. Also “ failure to do so May result in a charge of a larger amount an hour for extra cleaning” Really ? Will not return.

Rockaway Beach Resort was great for the trip we took. We were looking for a quiet getaway on the beach. The price was right (more than double to stay in Cannon Beach) and our room was right on the water, with a pool and hot tub for the kids. The town itself though doesn’t have much. Dining is limited and there isn’t even a real grocery store. However the town of Rockaway Beach is centrally located if you want to visit other areas on the Oregon coast. We visited Tillamook, Cannon Beach and other spots along the coast.
