Hotels near Rocks State Park

"Before we had gotten there I had thought I paid the full amount including accidental fees. When I arrived there I had to pay an additional 200+ dollars for any damage done in the room and accidental fees. To then find out that valet parking is taking out of that charge. It was not enough communication. Room service came on our last day, sheets were not changed. I received wash clothes that had black spots on them. In order to go to the pool you have to reserve a spot. I was really shocked for this to be Hyatt Place, this is normally a 4.5 star hotel. I wasn’t able to get the original room I paid for , but the staff was nice about that. "

"Incredible location and harbor views. Big room. Would have liked a regular duvet but it was a thinner one. Very friendly staff. I parked in a big parking garage called Harbor 5. I thought it was going to be payed for by the hotel but it wasn’t. $35 per 24 hours. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Check out was 12 noon which I liked. I would come back. "

"The building is a nice example of 1930s style and architecture, but it shows serious signs of wear and tear in the hallways and in the rooms. The rooms are modest at best. The "fitness center" is basically none existent, the staff isn't very knowledgeable of the local area, I waited for 20mins at valet to drop off my vehicle when I arrived, the breakfast buffet was cancelled some time ago, but they still advertise it as an offering... needless to say it is very overpriced for what they're actually offering. "

"Our TV was not working. Things were missing from our bathroom, and when we asked for the items, they did not bring them. So I had to go down to the front desk to ask again for the items. They forgot to clean our room, even though I specifically asked them to do it, so we had to ask for new towels. Breakfast, for the price, was the quality you would normally get at another hotel for free. A lot of people had issues, and I would see them complaining at the front desk. "

"I paid for the early check-in, but wasn't able to check in at all, the front desk staff was incredibly rude. We were there to attend a family funeral, but had to book another hotel after arrival because La Quinta's elevator was out of order, and my 85-year-old mother couldn't climb 3 flights of stairs."
