"The building is older and very run down on the outside - we were questioning whether we wanted to go inside. We checked out the room and it seemed fine. A note to the hotel; Please ask the cleaners to clean the coffee pot and dump out the old grinds, we are tea drinkers, so it was pretty gross. I would also consider changing the 1970's bathroom floor with all the old cigarette burns in it. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet."
"The property is not a diamond property but it is functional and worked for us. We requested a ground floor room to accommodate a member of our party who just had surgery. Rooms need a bit of a decor update but it was functional. Staff are friendly and helpful. A high 4/5 stay. "
"Always good to stay at Cow Lake. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Cabin could use an update and add a few amenities to the room like shampoo, body wash, and better hand soap for the bathroom, an initial supply of coffee & coffee filters. The General store has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and TV was great. Lots of space. Our pups were very comfortable. Nice quiet spot if you are looking for a friendly place to hang out. "
