"We thought that this was a great option for a convenient and stress-free family beach vacation. The property may not be as updated or modern as some other hotels in the area, but it is clean, the rooms were spacious, the location is great. We reserved our room late and ended up with a dune view double queen room, and even though we did not face the ocean or pool directly, we did not feel disconnected from the beach.
We really appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was and felt very well taken care of. The hotel includes a nice breakfast and upscale dining area, and several other snacks are provided throughout the day which was a nice bonus. Access to the beach is very direct and goes right past the pool deck, so it's easy to transition between the two, which we've found to be the best way to do full beach days with young kids.
For a family of four with two kids under four, we thought this met our needs very well and was at a good price point relative to other options in the outer banks that offered similar amenities. If you are looking to do a family beach vacation in the Outer Banks, this is a great place to stay."
