While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. "Overall, a great hotel, but a few simple issues kept it from being excellent. The rooms are fairly noisy, with hallway doors clearly audible. Sleep was also affected by curtains that didn’t fully block outside light and a motion-activated bathroom light that couldn’t be turned off. We were also surprised to be charged €20 for an extra room key. That said, the hotel is in a good location and there was adequate parking nearby."
