The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"

I arrived at the property and still had not received any instruction to gain access. Then I had to make a very expensive phone call to the people that run the property and was told “oh you should never book with Expedia as we can’t contact you there.” Not very helpful. "Great for walking or bike riders. Easy drive to dozens of historic towns in Thüringen for daily trips. Impressive staff all around. 5 star service received. Great food, all top level. Worth a revisit."
