"This may be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. First of all, I love history and so you are staying where King Charles II had his castle. Secondly, the breakfast was amazing. "We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"A pretty standard mid market hotel but perfect for 1 or 2 nights in Lille. City centre and the old town within easy walk. The bonus is that is less than a 5 minute walk to the main Eurostar and Lille Europe train station. Very friendly staff on check in. Comfy bed."
