"Very friendly hosts. Clean, comfortable room. Beautiful views. Reasonably priced. However: (1) we were unpleasantly surprised by the distance from the airport, the city, and any restaurants/stores. This comes up in a search for hotels near the Denver airport, and it looks really close on the map, but it takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport (22 miles away) and downtown Denver is even farther away. As far as I can tell, there are no restaurants, stores, or gas stations within a 5 mile radius. (2) I don't think I would want to stay at this location if I was traveling by myself. It is too isolated and there is less security than there would be at a hotel. (3) Some of the listed descriptors and listed amenities are not quite as advertised. There is a hot tub guests can use, but nothing close to a "full service spa". The "double futon" in our 1 bedroom "deluxe" balcony "suite" was a futon frame and a foam mattress in the closet. The balcony is shared with another room and there is not really a separate bedroom. It is just one room with a bathroom. (4) If you are in recovery from substance use, or just very uncomfortable with use (even legal) do some extra research before deciding to stay here. Overall the vibe here is somewhere between an upscale youth hostel and a funky AirBnB room rental."
"Bed was freshly made and comfortable (as were pillows). Room had a slightly musty smell but was tolerable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Left early due to a long drive ahead, so did not partake in breakfast (nor was I offered a “to go” bag, but it wasn’t expected)."
"So convenient if you have a later arrival into Denver airport-just a short walk from baggage claim. The food at the restaurant (Grill and Vine?) was a pleasant surprise. Then a short walk back to the airport in the morning to get a shuttle to the rental cars. The convenience was worth the extra cost for me!"
"It was weird that they have to manually enter the card info for incidentals. I hate to be untrusting but card security while traveling is extra important. Good brew pub across the parking lot."
