"I stayed here in mid September 2023 as a lone traveller. It just so happened that it was unseasonably warm this year. I was intially placed in a small room overlooking a courtyard with a ceiling fan for air-conditioning. I was not expecting this as I requested in advance for a room on a lower floor due to mobility issues. I received no response to my request and was in fact placed on the 4th floor. The lift broke down on the day I arrived but was fixed within a day. I was kindly placed in another room within a couple of days. Unfortunately this room had no air- conditioning at all. Consequently I had to keep the windows open throughout the evening, which allowed the mosquitos to get in. I was bitten several times but was supplied with some spray by the hotel. The breakfast was a basic continental one, with the usual ham, which was fine if you ate pork, but if you did not, it meant a carb-filled cereal, toast and cake every morning. Apparently the hotels around here do not have tea-making facilities or fridges. I liked that the staff were friendly and the hotel is close to all amenities. The hotel could do with a little updating to make guests more comfirtable but the staff tried their best to accommodate."
