"The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers."

"The property is situated in a great part of Southsea, you can get to the beach relatively quickly and there are plenty of attractions around. The property itself is in need of a spruce up and a thorough deep clean, it feels a bit tired throughout. Our children were wearing light coloured socks and due to the hard floors not being cleaned properly, they were all filthy when we left. "From the fabulous staff at check in, to the gorgeous comforts of my cozy double this hotel really is quite special. If it is first class hospitality and modern yet warm luxury you are looking for then this is for you. There is even complementary gin in the room ( shame I was on business) I didn’t make it up to the roof top bar- but hear it’s amazing- but I did sit out on my beautiful balcony over looking the yachts. To finish it off the gym is pretty impressive for a hotel gym !"
