Roros itself is a strange but nice little town. A World Heritage site but not for ‘prettiness’! The hotel is located on the outskirts but is an easy 15min walk into the centre. There appeared to be a modern wing - the hotel is pretty big (although only 2 or 3 stories) and sprawling - we were in an old wing so the room (for me, my wife and 15yr old son) was tired and a tad old fashioned. The bathroom likewise was old and basic. But nonetheless it was all clean. The breakfast buffet was v good with lots of fresh hot food and continental etc. and the pool, sauna and hot tubs, once you found them, were great. Plenty of parking on site. Overall, I’d stay again but hopefully they’ll renovate the old wing we were on soon.

Très bon logement, le personnel est gentil et c'est adapté à mon niveau d'anglais pas très élevé. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, il y a vraiment de tout. Les espaces communs son calme, la piscine et le reste son superbe et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont simples mais satisfaisant. Manque une bouilloire.

Ble møtt av hyggelig personale ved innsjekk, og fikk rommet jeg hadde bestilt. Det var rent og praktisk, med alt jeg trengte. Badekar og komfortabel seng, veldig god frokost i romslig restaurant og med ferskt brød og pålegg, og stort utvalg varme og kalde valgmuligheter. Var stille om kvelden og natta, og mulighet til å variere temperatur ved hjelp av termostat og vindu. Det var også en stor parkeringsplass rett utenfor hotellet, men såpass kort vei å gå til sentrum at bilen kunne stå. Takk for et flott opphold. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake.
