"Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen."

"Shame there is no restaurant anymore. Good selection for breakfast, all nicely laid out but the hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage had been on display for a long time and was cold. Parking very expensive."

"Very well located in the Altstadt, no more than a few minutes’ walk from the ferry quay and the railway station. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good."

"No direct lake view from the room but only a short walk to the waters edge and harbour. Easy parking and friendly staff."

"The hotel is fantastic for its design, the room and the view. I regret the quality of the food at the restaurant as well as its design which made me think I better cross the street to go to the Mac Donald. The Spa is great but its opening hours till 9PM makes it difficult to enjoy a business day, a restaurant and finishing the day at the spa. So sad."
