"The room and bathroom were both clean and well supplied. The lamp in the room didn’t work and the staff immediately came to help and ended up bringing a different one to replace it. Very helpful."
"We stayed three nights in a king room on the third floor near the elevators. Overall, our stay was pleasant, with several highlights as well as a few areas needing improvement.
The king room itself was somewhat small and lacked a refrigerator, with only one chair available for seating. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The room was generally clean, although the shower floor could benefit from a deep cleaning, as it appeared stained and dirty. The bath and hand towels were thick, soft, and luxurious, and the shower had excellent water pressure.
There were a few maintenance issues in the room. Both the body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty upon arrival, fortunately I had brought my own toiletries. In addition, the entry light bulb and one of the bathroom lights were burned out and needed replacement. A lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom would also be a very nice addition.
The air conditioning unit was quite noisy and seemed to shut off during the night, making the room somewhat uncomfortable at times. Housekeeping service is available by request only.
One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. The food selection was excellent, the coffee was hot, plentiful, and delicious, and the breakfast area was very clean and well maintained. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the lobby each morning with coffe"
"Ended up I did not stay after walking in to my 2nd floor room and seeing a cockroach on the floor along with dirt. I asked for my money back and they gave it to me without hesitation (a positive). Sidewalks and stairways were dirty; definitely a property that is not kept after."
"What a delightful place to stay off the beaten path! Sooooo peaceful here! We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the property and learning its history. Our room was perfectly clean and quiet, offering a most restful night’s stay. Will definitely recommend to others!"
"The site said it had an indoor pool. It had one but it was closed anyway for the season. The rooms had squeaky beds, rusty door handles, and the main door had to be slammed to close. We found long dark hair in the bed sheets, like they weren’t changed. The hot breakfast consisted of a waffle maker only and hard boiled eggs that looked like they were cooked and left there all week. The cold choices were cereal and white bread toast. I would l"
