The staff were superb:friendly and helpful but street side is noisy and the hotel needs a refresh. They pump a scent throughout the hotel that we found unpleasant. Parking is street parking where you can find it, there is not a secure convenient parking area specific to the hotel. View is of a supermarket and you are about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.

Great hotel, lovely staff.
Everything about the hotel we loved. Greeting on our arrival. Lovely room, comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked, hot or cold. Great breakfast for the price, cheapest yet. Good location, close to shops. Could highly recommend.

Economical stay in Roses
Hotel Montmar is a good option in Roses. It is in the center of town, less than a 10-min walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby. Wifi worked consistently though a bit slow. My room did not have a desk, which made it hard to work.

Very good hotel in Roses
Very friendly staff. Very clean hotel. Roses is nothing extraordinary but if you have to stay in the city, this hotel is definitely the right choice.

A very pleasant stay
Very clean hotel. Comfortable bed with sea view and spacious balcony (Room 204) I had a bad back so was pleased there was a bath. Very friendly obliging staff, especially at reception Excellent location and very good breakfast.

Value for money and good location
Staff were lovely and help. Room is fairly basic but has everything you need except for a safe . It would be nice if the tea and coffee facilities were in the room ( they are downstairs in the lobby). A soap dispenser by the sink would be helpful too ! In easy walking distance of the seafront. Parking is nearby and free. Buffet breakfast was pleasant and value for money.

Excellent value for money
We stayed here for 4 nights and can only say that we were more than happy with this hotel. Its just 5 minutes walk to the beach. We found free parking in a side street opposite. Breakfast was continental buffet with a great selection. All staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are fresh, modern but compact and suited us as its somewhere to sleep; the bed was very comfy. The shower was excellent. It delivered on what was advertised and we will stay here again. Thankyou to all the staff ... you were all stars

Excellent unpretentious hotel in Roses
Hotel Miramar in Roses exceeded our expectations in all respects and was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was modern and comfortable and the breakfast was amazingly good for €6. The location was OK, walking distance to the promenade and there is plenty of free car parking close by. If we ever go back to Roses we would stay at this hotel again.

The Staff were amazing and very accommodating. The Room was perfect the decoration was amazing, the shower was the best I had in my trip. The bed was super comfy and a good size TV. it was only a 5 min walk to the beach so for the price of the stay I would happily walk. Will definitely stay here again.

Querido Jonathan,Muchas gracias por su comentario. Sentimos muchísimo lo que pasó en la habitación. Como ya os dije en su momento, no os pude cambiar de habitación porque el hotel estaba lleno y a los hoteles de la zona no les quedaban disponibilidad.No sé muy bien qué querían que hiciese de más: Os di toallas de más para frenar la gotera, fregué el suelo y hasta me ofrecí a subir más tarde a limpiarlo otra vez todo... De verdad que lo siento, pero no sé qué hubieseis hecho si estuvieseis en mi lugar aquel día. Creo que os traté con respeto y simpatía, así que decir que el trato fue denigrante, me parece una falta de respeto por vuestra parte. Tal y como os dije, llamé al técnico, pero como pueden entender, una gotera en una habitación significa que tenemos que hacer una inspección de todo el edificio para ver de dónde sale. Hemos encontrado el problema y ahora mismo estamos haciendo obras en el techo del hotel, así que ya está solucionado.Otra vez, quiero disculparme personalmente, ya que no pude arreglar el problema en su momento. Calidad precio excepcional
Fácil aparcamiento gratuito en la zona. Servicios como supermercados, bares, restaurantes. Recepcionista muy agradable y habitación cómoda. Baño amplio con bañera muy cómoda. Tele bastante pequeña, es lo único mejorable.

Un hôtel de qualité !
Pour un séjour en famille et de passage à Roses nous avons fait étape dans cet hôtel où le meilleur accueil nous a été réservé ! Les chambres sont belles et d’une propreté impeccable ! Le petit déjeuner proposé sous forme de buffet est varié !

Situé à quelques minutes de la plage, juste assez loin de l’agitation mais juste assez près pour retourner à sa chambre durant la journée. Nous avions une superbe terrasse avec vue sur l’amer et la montagne. Le personnel très accueillant.

La habitacion como tal para dormir esta bien, lo que no me gusto que solo se hagan cambios de toallas cada 3 dias, eso no me a pasado nunca en ningun hotel por esa parte estoy decepcionado

Lamentamos ver que esta decepcionado con su estancia aquí en el Hotel Montmar, pero nosotros no podemos hacer nada al respeto ya que por los altos riesgos de sequera que estamos teniendo por la Costa Brava, el Ayuntamiento de Roses nos ha pedido que todos hagamos un esfuerzo con el fin de salvar uno de los bienes más preciados que tenemos.Hasta hace muy poco (unos 2 meses) cambiábamos las toallas y las limpiábamos cada día, pero como le he explicado, este servicio ya no se puede dar. De todas formas, si nos hubiése preguntado por más toallas (o toallas nuevas) le hubiésemos dado sin ningún problema. Chambre spacieuse et belle salle bains (les verres à dents sont des bocaux de confiture pas tres agréables). Pas de placard hormis une commode et des cintres pour suspendre sur un portant. Mais le plus décevant c'est que la clim n'a pas fonctionné les 2 nuits où nous sommes restes malgré notre signalement à l'accueil (ils devaient s'en occuper immédiatement)... Pour la television, seulement 2 chaines fonctionnaient en francais (TF1 et FR3). Et le matin (plus que TF1 avec des dessins animes !...). Un peu déçus... C'est dommage...

Les techniciens ne pouvaient pas venir plus tôt, mais nous avons changé tout le circuit et maintenait il funcionne correctement. Encore une fois, nous sommes extrêmement désolés. Pour la télévision, nous allons le regarder aussi, parce que normalement nous avons 3 chaines françaises... Nous sommes désolés pour ses petits problèmes, nous espérons que vous pouvez revenir et nous donner une deuxième chance. Väldigt slitet hotell, både rum, själva hotellet samt området. Såg att det fått bra betyg vilket gjorde att vi bokade rum där, det stämde inte alls.
