Even though the hotel is near the train station the hotel is very very quiet, one of the best sleeps I have ever had. Make sure to set your alarm as you will oversleep if you don’t. "

"Beautiful historic building in great condition. The hotel manager called us ahead of time to check on our ETA, and provided us with instructions for our check in after hours. The hotel has its own parking area within own premises. The room was very nice, clean and with a roomy bathroom. The breakfast was served in an expansive glass room, and there was a good selection of quality food."

Durch die Lage im Gewerbegebiet und direkt an der Warnow ist es vor allem am Wochenende und vermutlich auch abends in der Woche traumhaft ruhig und mit dem außenliegenden Bar-Bereich und den Outdoormöbeln lässt es sich gerade bei schönem Wetter super entspannend aushalten... "The room was comfortable, if smaller than some we have used and there were no tea/coffee making facilities but generally OK. Staff were friendly and helpful although parking could be better (we have a disabled badge and parked on-street which was more convenient). Breakfast was good. The surrounding area was fairly scruffy as clearly this part of Rostock is still in the process of development/improvement. Restaurants were on the other side of what was effectively a dual carriageway with few convenient crossing points but a good choice of outlets. Rostock as a whole is not an obvious place to visit but there is plenty to see from both the historic and communist eras. The beach resort of Warnemunde is good for high-end shopping and eating although the beach itself is a disappointment. Bad Doberan is worth a visit for the minster church and the "Molli" narrow-gauge railway."

"Because I left very early for the ferry the staff had made a lovely vegetarian breakfast for me to take away. There are lockable fridge locker and a kitchen area with sink and microwave. I emailed the hotel 48 hours before I arrived to make the request and the breakfast was in the fridge the evening before I left. Excellent for a stopover."
