"Although this location is very close to the cruise docks and train station, I would not recommend staying at this location The rooms very dirty and the hall light entering the doorway was burnt out and when talked to the front desk he just shrugged it off. The towels were very old and the whole hotel was outdated and in a need of a face lift They attempted to charge us for parking when we did not have a vehicle. I would recommend choosing another location in this beautiful little town"

"Wir hatten eine Übernachtung gebucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr geräumig. Das Bad ist ebenfalls sehr groß. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen Balkon nach hinten Richtung Straße und einen tollen Blick auf die Weinberge. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hatten für alle Fragen ein offenes Ohr. Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker....

"The setting of this hotel is stunning, and we had a balcony overlooking the Rhine. Quiet, elegant and relaxing! Currently there is extensive work on the adjoining Castle Rheinfels, but this was not disruptive to the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with fabulous views of the Rhine. Front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. "

"The Spritzenhaus is a gem in the charming city of Eltville. The room was spacious and clean. The attention to detail and kind, personalized service by the owners made us feel special. It was a short, easy walk past half-timbered houses to the pedestrian area shops, the Rhine River, wine bars, and restaurants. There is much to explore in the town. We’ll be back, and look forward to staying at the Spritzenhaus again. "
