"The property was fine, more targeted at longer term stays. A bit tired but clean enough. Felt safe enough for me on my own, shower was hot, didn't notice too much road noise. Overall it was fine for a place to sleep in an otherwise extortionate city! Very handy for train and tram."

"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"Quiet, comfortable apartment conveniently located. Access to all the sites in Basel are easily accessable, either on foot or using the trams stops just steps away. The apartment was spacious and included all the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the in-suite laundry after being on the road for some time. Check-in was easy and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. As eating out in Basel can quickly add up in cost, the kitchen and nearby grocery store were convenient....

"The property was very much work in progress the owner had just finished with unit we stayed in but some of the rooms were low ceilings upper floor made us bump ou heads. The driveway was full of work equipment which meant that our car had to parked in the road. No laundry facilities which was a no no."

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. Nice hotel in excellent location

"Excellent location / friendly staff / good room / older hotel but well maintained / comfortable bed / included a ticket for public transport during the stay which i think is a great idea / we had a room towards the front therefore it was a bit noisy from the Trams in front of the hotel but that did not bother us. "
