Great to have the private pool but the pool area was devoid of plants and could have used a good sweep. Didn’t look anything like the very pretty promo pics. Bathroom handbasin badly cracked, place just looked very “unloved” Beds clean and comfy enough though

Affordable fantastic stay

Awesome stay for one night during Crankworxs weekend, Big room, great to have one separate bedroom, the Queen bed was very comfy. Cosy and warm with the wall heaters.big spa bath that you can use if u wish and fully equipped kitchen. We will certainly be back

Swift check-in process and friendly staff. The room itself was spacious and clean and the beds were comfy! The hot tub was a nice feature and extremely welcome with the evenings getting a bit cooler! Parking space right in front of the room was super convenient. The lights in the room were quite harsh on the eye, especially the wall fitted ones which actually seemed more like outdoor lights. But overall a decent motel and a better standard than most!

The best thing about our stay was the bed and bedding. We had a great sleep. Sadly tho toilet was dirty. Not much in the way of facilities. Spa didn't work. I think it's priced too high for such a basic motel. Manager was pleasant.

Road trip

It was cold weather, 5-6degrees. Panel heater not quite up to heating the room. Bed was ok but pillows were hard. Shower a bit awkward as it's in spa tub. Noy high enough and too close to wall. Otherwise it was comfortable enough for our needs.

Was such a great stay, I did think with the location being on the side of a main road it would be hard to access and exit the property but I had no troubles at any stage trying to get in or out. We did have trouble when trying to go for a shower or bath we found we had no hot water for quite some time before I phoned the man whom was amazing and came to our unit straight away and fixed the problem. We did have problems about 4am when someone was bashing on our unit door multiple times and freaked us out quite abit but as we got up to approach our unit door the person was no longer there. Amazing place to stay, comfy beds, lovely bath😁Would recommend to others and would stay again. Thank you for having us 🙂

The 1 bdrm studio with spa was perfect for me and my partner. Next time I think I'd choose something with cooking facilities though. I liked how every place we needed to go was a 3-4 min drive away so was convenient. Workers were very friendly, helpful and always respected our privacy. Enjoyed relaxing in hot tub. Overall enjoyed my stay. One thing I didnt like was having a really small bin for rubbish and no tub for dirty dishes so they kind of sat all over the bench.

Housekeeping was pretty poor, Stayed 4 nights for work, No clean towels, No fresh Linen, No rubbish removal and tea/coffee etc was not topped up, pretty poor considering it was advertised 'Housekeeping' on the website. Had to go to Kmart to purchase towels to use and dispose of rubbish at the worksite we were working on, After Working in Wellington where you get home from work and you have fresh linen, Towels etc it was a huge let down, I guess it is a Rotorua thing.
